As technology develops and the price of modern tools continue to drop, the opportunities that arise are endless.
Here in The Manning Vallley the team from Taree Indigenous Development Employment services (TIDE) have been working this week to learn how to operate drones.
The drones will help over the next few years with projects like ariel surveys into weeds and pests in the region. Further than that though it’s hoped they can help with research into local sacred sites, buriel sites and much much more.
